L.J. Star has released a new, advanced high-power LED luminaire for sight glass applications in hazardous environments. The Series 55-EX LED Lumiglas luminaire provides a glare-free view of processes via a sight glass. The luminaire is also suitable for heat-sensitive processes where low maintenance and high reliability are needed.
LED Ex Light
The LED Lumiglas luminaires are durable and have an operating life of 50,000 h. The Lumiglas generates light and does not produce any heat, unlike conventional halogen lights. The LEDs are resistant to vibrations and shocks arising from the process system.
The LED Ex luminaire reduces maintenance expenditures and enables companies to fulfill their green initiatives. The Series 55-EX is an explosion-proof rated luminaire and reduces interruptions during process viewing. The Series 55-EX is available with ASL55-EX aluminum housing or ESL55-EX stainless steel housing for harsh environments.
