NEC Display Solutions of America has added the 55'' P551 LCD display to its P series professional-grade LCD displays. The P series includes 46'' P461, 40'' P401, 70'' P701 and 52'' P521 displays for digital signage professionals.

NEC Display Solutions’ Product Manager, Luke Bruschuk, stated that the P551 display offers more features than ever such as high flexibility and a refresh rate of 120 frames per second to support any digital signage installation. He further informed that the LCD display also includes other sophisticated features such as copy functions, tandem-working TileComp and TileMatrix and an enhanced digital signage technology suite.
The P551 is deployed in 24/7 operations such as public information, healthcare and airports. The display reduces the usual blur in fast-moving images and offers a bright and crystal-clear image. The display has a HD resolution of 1920x1080 and includes other features such as a carbon footprint meter and a real-time scheduler.
