The podiatrist Dr. Ed Davis, based in San Antonio, is offering a new kind of laser therapy for patients, to treat edema, inflammation and pain, and to repair superficial lesions.
The laser therapy utilizes a MLS pulse, which is a synchronized, combined emission of pulsed and continuous laser emissions, with various infrared wavelengths. The control system that produces the MLS laser pulse syncs the two emissions. Because of this synchronization, various therapeutic effects, such as anti-edema and anti-inflammatory of the emission, not only occur at the same time but also reinforce each other reciprocally.
The laser therapy has various advantages over traditional treatments, such as fast pain disappearance. The delivery system synchronizes the energy frequencies during the laser therapy, providing quality results in minimal time. Davis stated that the laser therapy provides optimum levels of care and helps in meeting the requirements of the patients.
