Vishay has released a new, advanced VLHW4100 non-diffused, white LED for general and consumers applications.
The 3 mm VLHW4100 is specifically designed for high-end applications where high luminous intensity is needed.
The VLHW4100 provides a cost-effective solution to replace incandescent lamps, and is suitable for a number of applications such as front panel indicators, light guides, outdoor LED panels, and exterior and interior lighting.
The LED offers a luminous intensity that ranges from 4,500 to 11,250 mcd at 20 mA, and utilizes the InGaN technology. The white LED has a ± 22.5° viewing angle, and includes a clear plastic case with a lens.
The VLHW4100 provides a maximum power dissipation of 95 mW and thermal resistance up to 400 K/W. The LED provides high light output and improved visibility performance. The white LED complies with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC. The LED has an electrostatic discharge-withstand voltage of up to 2 kV, which is in accordance with JESD22-A114-B.
