New Recessed LED Indirect Luminaire from Cooper Lighting

Cooper Lighting has launched the io lili recessed LED indirect luminaire that is used as a replacement for fluorescent alternatives. The 2' x 2' luminaire incorporates an organic reflector design, offering glare-free soft lighting without excessive brightness. It also creates optimal lighting levels that comply with the IES standards.

The patent pending organic reflector design includes LEDs, which are located in a low profile light engine. The light engine also serves as a heat sink that offers the necessary thermal management. The LED lights are optically controlled for directing light into the reflector. As a result, the lights deliver surface brightness considerably lower than other indirect luminaires.

The io lili luminaire features color rendering index of more than 80 CRI and generates 3500 K white color temperature. It has an average rated lifetime of 50,000 hr, at a lamp lumen output of 70%. The lifetime of the luminaire is double the lifetime of fluorescent lights. The luminiare is suitable for institutional facilities, educational environments, and commercial offices.
