Light Ace to Distribute ChemImage’s Falcon II Imaging System in China

ChemImage has signed an agreement with a China-based company, Light Ace HK, to distribute the Falcon II Wide-Field Raman Chemical Imaging System in China. The imaging systems will be distributed in China’s select contract services.

Falcon II Imaging System

Optimized for both spectroscopy and chemical imaging applications, the Falcon II imaging system recognizes the size, concentration, morphology, structure and composition of constituents present in a sample. The services offered by the Falcon II imaging system comprise controlled release characterizing, content uniformity, polymorph analysis and ingredient-specific particle sizing applications.

The Raman Chemical Imaging is a technique, which integrates spectroscopy with digital imaging. This technique is utilized to achieve both spatially and spectrally images of a sample. ChemImage’s Raman Chemical Imaging products use filter technology that enables a more accurate size measurement and chemical identification.

Light Ace’s General Manager, Jason Wu stated that the company is delighted to add the Falcon II imaging system to its existing range of products. Wu added that the company is confident that the products will reach the targeted market in view of its flexibility and greater discrimination ability.
