Provider of fiber-optic networks, FiberLight announced that the Cox Media Group’s member, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has selected the company’s LightSource Ethernet service.
The Journal-Constitution has deployed the service to offer Gigs of transport capacity to many facilities in the Atlanta metropolitan region. To produce a secure VPN (Virtual Private Network), FiberLight’s customized network solution is constructed on a multi-node ringed platform.
The company has constructed every private network location with complete redundancy to support high-bandwidth applications and core infrastructure of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. The company also offers continuous monitoring of the network and the fiber. The network solution checks the customer paths for power issues, laser degradation, and stress, while enhances response time and accuracy considerably during a fiber cut.
