Panasonic has launched new, advanced A4 laser multifunction printers, the KX-MB2010, the KX-MB2030 and the KX-MB2000 for scanning, faxing, printing and copying applications. The printers offer laser copying and printing, Super G3 network faxing and multi-format color scanning. The printers feature a set of office-enabling software.
The printers are specifically designed for remote office, small office and home office market. The KX-MB series closes the gap between larger-sized laser multifunction printers and single-purpose inkjet printers. The printers use a 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet port to enable shared network scanning and printing.
The compact KX-MB2000 series comprises a 20-sheet ADF (Automatic Document Feeders) and paper input trays. The software suite includes the Easy Print Utility that allows users to combine different types of files such as Microsoft Excel and Word into a single PDF file with customized header and footer.
Other enhancements in the printer series include a maximum resolution of 9600 x 9600(3) dpi and PDF/JPEG/TIFF-compatible color scanning to network devices. The laser printers have a Quick ID feature that copies both sides of a card and prints it in 8-in-1, 4-in-1, or 2-in-1 configuration.
