New 2000 Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer from GAO Tek

Manufacturer of electronic measurement and telecommunication products, GAO Tek, has recommends the new 2000 Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) that is being widely utilized in fault point location and loss characteristics analysis in the production, maintenance and installation of optical fiber networks.

Handheld OTDR GAO 2000

The optical time-domain reflectometer is suitable for field testing and compatible with telecommunications, ISP and CATV fiber networks. The compact OTDR offers six pairs of test result comparisons simultaneously, and shows the fiber’s loss distribution curves, fault points, connection point, attenuation coefficient, length, return loss and splice loss.

The handheld optical time-domain reflectometer automatically locates and generates a fault point list and offers two screen markers for zooming in and out on the curve details. The OTDR has a print-screen-function that allows users to upload the data to a personal computer. The event analysis lists and test results can be printed by using the print-screen-function. The user-friendly OTDR can operate continuously for over 12 h due to large battery capacity.
