Kaiser Optical Systems Implements Valdor’s Impact Mount FC Connector

Valdor Technology International, manufacturer of next-generation fiber optic connectors and optoelectronic components, reported that Kaiser Optical Systems has tested and approved Valdor’s proprietary Impact Mount FC connector to be installed in its systems. Valdor also identified a number of other applications where Kaiser can use the Valdor Impact Mount technology.

All Valdor connectors features the eco-friendly and user-friendly Impact Mount technology. The Impact Mount technology is completely mechanical and does not require any index or epoxy matching gel. The termination connectors and kits with the Impact Mount technology are suitable for field use and harsh environment applications. In addition to Valdor’s product line, other passive components such as couplers, patch cords, attenuators, cable assemblies and multiplexers are also available.

Kaiser, a Rockwell Collins subsidiary, deals in spectrographic instrumentation and holographic technology. The company’s production units and main offices are based in Michigan and Ann Arbor, and its products and services are used in various applications such as nanotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing, telecommunications, education, defense, astronomy and deep-sea exploration.
