NEC Display Solutions of America has expanded its NP Value series with a new, advanced projector called the NP115. The NP115 projector will replace the NP110 and the NP215 models.
The NP115 projector is suitable for mobile applications, namely conference rooms and classrooms where lightweight and affordable projectors are required. The 2500-lumen projector offers bright images and improves interactivity with its 3D-Ready capability. The NP115 projector provides a contrast ratio of 2000:1, which is sourced from the Texas Instruments DLP engine. The projector also features a built-in closed captioning and a 7 W speaker that improve its usability.
The NP115’s ECO mode technology increases the lamp life and reduces energy consumption. The lightweight projector also includes a quick start and shutdown technology that enables instant on and off operations without requiring any cooling time. The projector has an 800x600 SVGA native resolution, a comprehensive input panel and a filter-free design. The NP115’s remote control has a green ECO mode button that allows effortless switching between the settings.
NEC Display Solutions’ Product Manager, Rich McPherson, stated that the NP Value series integrates both supplemental and basic features into portable models. The NP115 provides better connectivity and the 3D-Ready capability extends its use in educational settings.
