IPC Systems announced that it has completed the enhancement of the pan-Asian Optical Network. The company’s network links key financial centers through the high-speed, pan-Asian Optical Network, which is fully restorable.
The upgraded network enables to provide Electronic Connectivity and private line voice services over a high-speed service platform in order to meet the increasing demands from trading community in the Asia-Pacific region.
IPC customers will have the most efficient highway that connects execution venues and clients across the Asia-Pacific region because of the new infrastructure technology. The region has more than 4,000 participants on-net in the market. The optical network links trading venues of key financial centers in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo. Korea and Taipei have also been added with network capacity to enhance the route diversity for Asia-Pacific customers. The network delivers maximum performance as it has been built in combination with multiple tier-one carriers. The new platform also provides flexible service delivery that has the ability to perform self-healing re-routing.
The VP of Network Service Operations, IPC, Mark Curran, said that the network enhancement is part of the strategic plan to increase the capacity across the Asia-Pacific region. He further stated that significant investment has been made to make sure the IPC network reaches every trading destination in the world.
