Bulgarian Academy of Sciences has furnished the experimental results of metal ultrashort laser ablation in vacuum, and plasmonics and surface nanostructuring. Molecular dynamics (MD) based numerical model is developed. The numerical model explains the interaction of laser pulse with metal target.

EVSO Congratulates MIT Scientists for Breakthrough in Solar Technology

Evolution Solar (PinkSheets:EVSO) applauded the news that Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have successfully coated paper with a solar cell, part of a suite of research projects aimed at energy breakthroughs. Cryo-Electron Microscope Produces High-Resolution Image of Virus Structure

UCLA researchers report in the April 30 edition of the journal Cell that they have imaged a virus structure at a resolution high enough to effectively "see" atoms, the first published instance of imaging biological complexes at such a resolution.
