Innovative Computer Vision System Helps Determine Compactness of Bunches of Grapes

Researchers of the Universitat Politècnica de València and the Valencian Institute of Agrarian Research (IVIA) and the Instituto de Ciencias de la Vid y del Vino (Research Centre of Vine-and- Wine-related Science) (ICVV) (University of La Rioja-CSIC-Government of La Rioja) have developed a new computer vision system that helps to determine the compactness of bunches of grapes, a characteristic that strongly influences the quality of the grape and the wine.
