TP LabTech, supplier of automated compound storage and retrieval systems, will display its new Mirrorball microplate cytometer for antibody detection at the BioExpo Japan 2010 from 30 June to 2 July. In addition to the microplate cytometer, the company will also present supporting information in its ‘Mix-and-Read Screening for Antibody Discovery workshop’.
The Mirrorball microplate cytometer is the first of its kind to provide laser scanning, enhanced multiplexing and single pass scanning at the same time. The high sensitivity cytometer will set a benchmark in the process of antibody discovery by quickly and accurately performing cell-and-bead or mix-and–read-based assays.
TTP LabTech’s Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Wayne Bowen, stated that the company owes its success to their collective team effort, and they also include the feedbacks and suggestions from the scientific community into their research and development process. Responding to such feedbacks enabled the company to come up with an innovative technology, the Mirrorball, for fluorescence cellular screening applications, he said.
