DOMINANT LEDs Installed in Haima’s Sports Utility Vehicle

DOMINANT Opto Technologies has installed its advanced, high-efficient LEDs in  Haima’s sports utility vehicle (SUV) for exterior illumination. DOMINANT LEDs are suitable for both interior and exterior automotive illumination.

DOMINANT’s rear combination lamps are integrated with several signal lamp functions and are used as visual indicators to alert pedestrians and motorists about the driver’s intentions. A number of LEDs operate together to offer the intensity required for combined tail and stop light functions. The tail light is fitted with 12 amber-colored Power DomiLEDs, while the brake light is equipped with 6 amber-colored Primax LEDs. Compared to the brake light function, the tail lamp needs minimum intensity and lesser power regulation. The brake lights have short switch-on time that prolongs the reaction time for other motorists and helps in preventing accidents.

Haima’s engineers selected the Primax and Power DomiLED in view of their advanced functionality, compact size and low power consumption.
