Lighting Science and Pace Industries Sign Manufacturing Deal

Lighting Science Group has signed an agreement with Pace Industries, a die cast company in the U.S. Under the agreement, Pace Industries will provide major components to Lighting Science. The collaboration is expected to increase the manufacturing operations of Lighting Science as a result of reduced supply times for key LED components.

The deal will also enable Lighting Science to meet the growing demands for LED lighting products. The company will leverage this alliance to create a number of new jobs, and will tap Pace Industries for increased supply needs of the die cast equipment.

The Florida manufacturing center of Lighting Science will receive the die cast components manufactured by the Harrison division of Pace Industries. The die cast components would be used in the DEFINITY retrofit LED lamps, PROLIFIC series of roadway luminaries, C2D Site and Area lighting series and other commercial product lines.

The CEO of Lighting Science Group, Zach Gibler stated that the agreement would help in boosting the company’s manufacturing capacity and will pave the way to increase their sales and workforce in the U.S.
