Dialight Launches L-864 Red Beacon LED Lights

Dialight has announced the launch of its latest L-864 Red Beacon with medium intensity, which has a very compact flash head. The compact flash head helps in decreasing wind load on fixed obstacles such as skyscrapers, bridges and wind turbines. The new LED series functions at 20 W and consumes the lowest amount of power compared to other L-864 products.

The D464 series is resistant to shock and vibration and measures only 8.5 inches in height. The effect of wind sheer on structures is considerably reduced by using the D464 series, which helps in enhancing the performance of structures in harsh weather conditions. The beacon offers a sharp beam cutoff for a very low level of scatter for a distance of one mile. In addition, it also offers 2,000 candelas needed by the FAA for the passing aircraft.

The product scatters less than 0.1 millifootcandles, which is minimal when compared to other LED beacons that scatter more than 0.3 millifootcandles. The D464 series brings down maintenance costs as it offers a life expectancy of more than 10 years. The product also has a five-year warranty and protects against unexpected outages.

Group Chief Executive of Dialight, Roy Burton, said the new products were launched by the company to meet the requirements of the industry with the most sophisticated products available. He further commented that the D464 series delivers superior performance than any other beacon lighting solution.
