Laser Energetics announced that it has signed an agreement with General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, a division of General Dynamics. Under the agreement, General Dynamics will develop the Dazer Laser for Laser Energetics.
Chief Executive Officer of Laser Energetics, Robert D. Battis, stated that the company is honored to sign the deal with General Dynamics and that the company’s shareholders will not have to establish a separate manufacturing plant to develop the Dazer Laser. He added that the company does not have to raise the required amount of capital to build the sophisticated production line, which currently exists at General Dynamics.
Laser Energetics manufactures a range of laser products for diverse laser applications in homeland security, science, military and various other industries, while General Dynamics is a system integrator of defense equipment and designs and produces armament systems, weapons, aerospace solutions and other defense products. The company also develops chemical detection and biological systems.
