Hatteras Networks Awards Next-Generation ASIC Design to GigOptix

Supplier of electro-optic and electronic semiconductor products for fiber-optic line, GigOptix announced that it has won the next-generation ASIC design from Hatteras Networks, a provider of multi-service Ethernet solutions.

Hatteras Networks’ Hardware Engineering Vice President, Mark Ventura, said that the collaboration with GigOptix offers them a new ASIC technology.
