Sajjet Unveils New Inkjet Printer with UV-LED Capability

Sajjet plans to display its SJ-WL6160 roll-to-roll digital color inkjet printer during the Beijing International Packaging Fair in June 2010. The inkjet printer will feature a unique UV-LED pinning capability enabled by Phoseon’s RX FireEdge technology. 

The SJ-WL6160 printer utilizes the RX FireEdge system to clasp the ink droplets and provides improved image quality. The system uses the low cost UV-LED system to freeze the inkjet droplet without completely curing it.

The third Annual IMI Digital Printing Press Conference, Kissimmee FL, USA and FESPA Digital, Messe Munchen, Munich Germany trade events will be showcasing the RX FireEdge system and other UV-LED curing products. Tommy Yuen, Sales Manager of Phoseon Technology stated that the printer would prove the advantages of having UV-LED pinning systems since FireEdge has proved its potential in various UV inkjet systems.
