RAB Lighting has introduced an advanced light-emitting diode (LED) lighting solution called the LFLOOD fixtures. The high-performance LED fixtures are affordable, which make them a viable alternative for outdoor lighting applications for a wider section of market. In addition to their affordability, the LFLOOD fixture also reduces electricity consumption and eliminates the need of multiple lamp changes.
The LFLOOD LED fixture comes in 13 and 10 W configurations. The 13 W fixture can be substituted for a 100 W PAR38 in Metal Halide or Halogen light and the 10 W fixture can be substituted for a 60 W PAR38 Halogen light. This reduces electricity consumption by about 70%.
The 13 W LFLOOD fixtures have received the Department of Energy's Lighting Facts Label. The LFLOOD fixture is Underwriters Laboratory (UL)-Listed for Wet Locations. In addition to this, the company has also applied for the Lighting Facts Label for its 10 W LFLOOD fixture based on LM-79 testing. The L70 Determination and the LM-80 information are available for consumers. New LM-80 data denotes that the LED will achieve 70% of initial output of about 50,000 h for the 10 W fixtures and above 50,000 h for the 13 W fixtures.
The LFLOOD floodlight features a glare shield and a field-switchable reflector. The former provides effective light control, while the latter is meant for flood or spot lighting applications. The fixture is placed on a sturdy ½ inch threaded arm that has an EZ-Grip locknut, an integral gasket and stainless steel screws. All these provisions match the fixture’s color.
The die-cast aluminum covering comes in four colors such as black, white, verde green and architectural bronze colors. The LFLOOD fixture design is protected under the U.S. and international intellectual property laws.
RAB Lighting manufactures a comprehensive range of advanced commercial and residential outdoor fixtures and motion sensor controls that are offered via electrical distributors.
