CapRock Chooses Alpheus for Fiber Network Management

CapRock Communications, a major player in providing satellite connectivity requirements even to remote environments, has announced that it has chosen Alpheus Communications for managing its terrestrial connectivity requirements.

Under the agreement, CapRock will use Alpheus’ interconnection, colocation, redundancy and connectivity services for its entire Houston teleport circuits as well as its international connectivity requirements. Alpheus’ certified data centers and their fine fiber footprints ensure reliable circuit access as well as support services for its clients.

Peter Shaper, CapRock CEO, said that voice and data traffic of its customers need to be transported to different locations and points right across the world. Alpheus, with its extensive fiber optic networks and good data center record, would ideally accommodate CapRock’s connectivity requirements worldwide, he added.

Doug Tutt, CapRock COO, mentioned that Alpheus’ 24/7 network operations delivering end-to-end services would support CapRock’s customers round the clock, across different time zones. Alpheus CEO Paul Hobby is delighted and honored about the partnership with CapRock.
