Dell Unveils New Mono Laser Printer and Printing Solutions

Dell has launched the Dell 5350dn, its new mono-laser printer, along with a range of printing solutions. The single-function laser printer can print a maximum of 50 single- sided pages every minute, at a 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution. Additionally, this duplex standard printer comes with a wide range of options, including additional memory, wireless/Gigabit internal card, mailbox bin, staple finisher, and input/output paper trays.

Dell Proximity Printing, the freely downloadable printing solution offered by Dell, allows mobile users to route print job to any network printer by using an office map layout. The solution makes the process of connecting to a nearby printer easier.

Dell’s other three printing solutions have been designed for the law, education and healthcare environments that are print-intensive. The Dell Legal Station includes functions such as on-demand printing, Scan to court, Scan to network, and a customizable touch screen. The Dell Classroom Station is a printer solution specifically developed for education-specific applications and is used to test, grade papers, and manage classroom documents. It allows on-demand printing of test templates, instant printing of grading results, and reporting. The Dell Healthcare Station is a solution designed with functions that include Scan to EMR (Electronic Medical Records), physician order routing, and forms on demand.
