Kodak and MacDermid to Provide Quality Films for Imaging Market

Kodak and MacDermid Autotype have collaborated to provide optical-grade polyester film products of high quality to Mexican and North American customers.

Kodak’s Industrial Films Group Director, Mark Juba, expressed his happiness over this new partnership and said that MacDermid is an expert in specialty coating and printed electronic products. He further informed that Kodak is discovering new ways to utilize its polyester-based film products and the company’s advanced production and stabilization process is now offered to a wide range of new customers.

MacDermid Autotype’s General Manager, Ken Southwell, stated that this collaboration will help them to expand their presence in the printed electronics sector and meet the growing demand of polyester-based products.

MacDermid’s coated films and Kodak’s polyester film base can be utilized in numerous electronic applications such as membrane switch circuitry layers, conductive flexible layers, sensors and printed electronic circuits.

Kodak’s Eastman Business Park now offers a broad portfolio of polyester-based films along with MacDermid products. MacDermid Autotype produces specialized products for the screen printing sector.
