Gadot Solar Solutions and SolarEdge today announced a joint agreement for the worldwide distribution and installation of SolarEdge solar power harvesting systems. Gadot Solar Solutions has a strong international presence, with offices in Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Israel and France, which will dramatically increase SolarEdge activity in these and other European markets.
The SolarEdge power harvesting solution includes PowerBoxes, which are module-integrated power optimizers, multi-string solar inverters and a monitoring portal. This unique end-to-end solution enables production of up to 25% more energy from PV systems, while reducing costs and complexities. It also ensures safety during installation, maintenance and firefighting events.
Gadot Solar Solutions sells turnkey PV systems, provides EPC and invests in PV projects worldwide. It is part of Gadot Group, Israel's largest chemical value chain company with over $650M annual turnover and 700 employees. Gadot operates the gas pipeline between Israel and Egypt and has huge logistics facilities in the region and all over Europe.
“We are delighted to add the SolarEdge system to our product portfolio. In addition to increasing energy yield, the SolarEdge PowerBoxes detect and report any panel under-performance, allowing us to offer proactive post-installation support while saving valuable time and costs. We see a very fruitful partnership ahead of us,” said Avigdor Huber, General Manager at Gadot Solar Solutions.
“Gadot has vast experience in project management and extensive market reach. We are glad to join forces in the distribution of SolarEdge systems,” said Zvi Lando, VP Global Sales at SolarEdge. “We are excited about our entry into new markets including Bulgaria, Greece and the Balkan region.”
