The conference will be held from May 23 to 27 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona. The optical solutions to be exhibited help the defense and intelligence agencies to gather, intercept and distribute intelligence as per demand.

The conference will be hosted by the Chief Information Officer and Directorate for Information Management of DIA. The conference will feature services, information technology networks and personnel of the Department of Defense (DoD), which enables policymakers and tactical users to collect, interpret and disseminate intelligence securely and comprehensively on time. The focus of this year’s conference is on developing mission-powered partnerships to support information sharing and interoperability across the Intelligence Community and DoD.

Glimmerglass’ CEO Robert Lundy said that as most of the communications in the world flow through fiber optic systems, defense and intelligence agencies have to manage large volumes of optical signals with mass critical information.
