Trina Solar Limited (TSL) has declared that it has entered into a strategic partnership with China General Certification Centre (CGC), Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) and TUV Rheinland Group (TUV Rheinland) at the 2010 global customer conference.
The conference was attended by the officials of Changzhou government, business associates, over 100 customers and media.
Trina Solar signed a partnership for a 'Witness Test Data Program' with Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and 'Testing at Manufacturers Premises Scheme' with TUV Rheinland Group. With this partnership, the company will be carrying out product certification tests in the Changzhou PV Testing Centre. The tests will be conducted in line with IEC 17025. The body engineers for certification will be examining the entire process. With this step, Trina Solar will be teaming up with CGC to offer certification services and in-house photovoltaic testing to the customers in China and other countries. Soon, users will be provided with the latest certified products from Trina Solar.
According to the Trina Solar’s vice president of Quality, Mr. Anthony Chia, the company is looking forward to work with the companies in the exchange of technology information, laboratory cooperation and product certification.
