American Industrial Systems (AIS) has announced the new 15” IP67 Sealed LCD display that is designed to provide high-quality performance in dusty, wet, humid and harsh situations.

AIS IP67 Display

The LCD display has the ability to resist water at high pressure such as typhoons, hurricanes or immersion in water level of up to 1 m. The monitor, which has been designed for outdoor applications, incorporates a display with high brightness of 800 nits. This display enables the monitor to work even under direct sunlight.

This new LCD display is available with the option to integrate an additional HMI touchscreen. This improves the product’s versatility as it can also act as a user input station for communication, point of sale and monitoring. The monitor facilitates the deployment of touchscreen LCD displays in places where it was not possible earlier.

The anti-corrosive enclosure made of aluminum makes the LCD monitor dustproof and waterproof. The enclosure helps to ensure that all the components including the rear I/O connectors are protected in all kinds of weather. The IP67 LCD display has been designed in compliance with vibration and shock standards according to IEC60068-2-27 as well as Military 810F. The product can work in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 60°C.

The IP67 LCD display is compatible with a power input range of 8–36 V. The LCD display is offered with VESA standard mounting holes to facilitate easy installation. The product is a sealed solution for use in military and commercial applications that primarily need quality, reliability, adaptability and service.
