DIOTEK, a specialized mobile software provider, has released MobiReader™, an automatic recognition application for business cards and documents, in the Apple App Store.
MobiReader, with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, converts images captured with an iPhone camera into text. With its intelligent function, it analyzes the information on a business card, such as the name, company name, phone number and e-mail address, and automatically saves them in the phone book.
MobiReader converts captured images of printed materials such as books, magazines and newspapers into text, so they can easily be used by saving or editing them.
DIOTEK's mobile OCR products have been incorporated into Windows mobile/Android OS-based mobile phones and Samsung and Motorola smartphones. They have received positive reviews from users with their high accuracy of recognition and usability.
MobiReader currently recognizes 6 languages, namely English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian, and supports various UI languages. The recognition function for Korean, Japanese and Chinese will also be available in April. MobiReader offers optimal usage for global business.
In addition, during its development, this product was focused on the implementation of an intuitive user environment by reflecting iPhone's user interface. With the virtual business card holder function which stores captured images of business cards, vivid graphics are supported, as if you are flipping through real paper business cards in a card holder.
Based on its decade-long mobile applications development know-how and its superior R&D manpower, DIOTEK products are extremely reliable. Moreover, DIOTEK guarantees stable service support through continuous patches, upgrades and after-sales service, all of which are known limitations of new companies or independent developers in the mobile applications market.
DIOTEK's mobile OCR products, MobiReader Biz+ for the recognition of business cards and MobiReader Pro for the recognition of business cards and documents, are now available in the Apple App store.
