Solos Endoscopy, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SNDY) is pleased to announce the Company has secured the U.S. Trademark for the MammoView® name.
The MamoView® Breast Endoscopy System offers a state-of-the-art endoscopic technology for detecting early stage breast cancer.
The Company's Breast Endoscopy System employs advanced micro endoscopes and optical technology to give physicians sharp, clear images of the milk ducts, where the majority of breast cancers arise. This equipment will distinguish and inspect suspicious pre-cancerous lesions undetectable by other methods. It performs related intraductal procedures with direct visualization of tissues. In addition, it complements existing diagnosis and treatment with direct endoscopic observation.
Solos Endoscopy, Inc was granted the U.S. trademark registration # 3637510 for the protection of the MammoView® name. A registered trademark on the USPTO's principal register grants a bundle of exclusive rights upon the registered owner, including the right to exclusive use of the mark in relation to the products or services for which it is registered. The law in most jurisdictions also allows the owner of a registered trademark to prevent unauthorized use of the mark in relation to products or services that are identical or "colorfully" similar to the "registered" products or services, and in certain cases, prevent use in relation to entirely dissimilar products or services.
