GWS Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: GWSC), an alternative energy company developing renewable energy solutions, announced today that it will start supplying CHS Farms LLC with wind turbines, solar panels, and hydro electric generators.
CHS Farms LLC is a 165 acre sustainable integrated aquaponic facility 45 miles northwest of Phoenix, Arizona. "Working with CHS Farms is a tremendous opportunity because the land has the potential to develop over 10MW of solar, wind and hydro power," said GWS Technologies Vice President Michael Coskun. "CHS Farms is able to take advantage of hydro-power thanks to natural gravity flow and over 200,000 gallons of water flowing downhill daily," Mr. Coskun added.
"We are very excited to be able to utilize the technologies GWS Tech has to offer," said Dr. Jason Licamele, a project manager at CHS Farms. "We plan to implement environmentally sound standards for producing food and energy by utilizing our natural resources as efficiently as possible in conjunction with modern technologies, this will allow us to get more food production from our water, land, and nutrient resources as compared to conventional agriculture,” Dr. Licamele added. Dr. Licamele received his PhD from the University of Arizona in Agriculture & Biosystems Engineering, and has both a B.S and M.S in Marine Biology.
