Vitronic to Present Machine Vision Solutions for the Medical Industry at MEDTEC

At this year’s MEDTEC, which takes place from 23th until 25th March 2009 in Stuttgart, VITRONIC presents turn-key machine vision solutions for the medical technology industry alongside the 360° inspection system VINSPEC. The roundabout inspection and reading of sealing caps is now reality- Eliminate time- and cost consuming mechanical rotation of the containers.

At booth 2642 in hall 8 machine vision systems will be presented: from simple reading tasks up to individual inspections systems for complex inspection. A live demonstration of VINSPEC will show how simply the system can be integrated and operated, reading and inspecting data matrix codes on seal caps.

This innovative proprietary development by VITRONIC combines different inspection tasks into one system: it checks cap colors that are specific to certain types, controls the flanging with respect to color and quality, monitors the correct sit of a seal and, if so required, verifies lettering and codes on the outer surface. This makes it possible to effortlessly inspect and identify seals, bottles and ampoules.

All VITRONIC machine vision systems can be validated based the GAMP-qualification packet: Basis for quality control in the manufacture of products in the medical and pharmaceutical branch.
