PureSpectrum to Display Dimmable Energy Efficient Lighting Products at Trade Shows

PureSpectrum (OTCBB: PSRU) will exhibit at several regional and national trade shows throughout the country during the second quarter to continue product introduction and build brand familiarity for the company’s dimmable energy efficient lighting product lines.

The company will exhibit at two regional shows in April to support ongoing sales efforts and strengthen existing distributor relationships in the Southeast and the Midwest. PureSpectrum plans to launch its full product line at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas in May, including multiple styles and wattages of dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) as well as multiple dimmable ballast models for linear fluorescent fixtures and dimmable T8 linear fluorescent fixtures.

In April, PureSpectrum will exhibit at the Southern Home Show in Savannah, Ga., sponsored by the Homebuilders Association of Greater Savannah and the Upper Midwest Electrical Expo in Minneapolis, Minn., sponsored by North Central Electrical League. At the Southern Home Show, PureSpectrum’s products will be on display for thousands of members of the building industry from throughout the Southeast who annually attend the show, and the Upper Midwest Electrical Expo attracts thousands of contractors, builders, electricians, distributors, wholesalers and utility industry representatives from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa and parts of Canada.

In May, PureSpectrum is registered to exhibit at the National Hardware Show and LightFair International in Las Vegas, two of the most heavily attended trade shows in the U.S. which each annually draw tens of thousands of attendees. The National Hardware Show, which takes place May 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, attracts retailers, wholesalers, dealers, distributors, importers, exporters and specifiers from virtually every channel of distribution. LightFair International, which takes place May 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference and is expected to attract more than 19,000 design, lighting, architectural, engineering and lighting industry professionals from around the world.

PureSpectrum plans to present its full product line of dimmable CFLs in multiple styles and wattages, three-phase step dimming ballast and dimmable linear fluorescent fixtures during the shows. PureSpectrum president and CEO Lee Vanatta said the company’s sales forecast and revenue projections for 2010 which were disclosed in November 2009 were based on the availability of a full platform of products in both categories and demonstrating the capabilities of the company’s products at well-attended, established industry trade shows is a primary tactic within the company’s strategy to solidify its relationships and expand the brand’s presence with distributors, retailers and other critical audiences within the lighting and electrical industry.

“The demand for energy efficient lighting is just beginning to ascend toward the peak it will reach in a couple of years, and we have products that are ideal for new building codes and regulations for energy efficiency that are rapidly becoming the standard for residential and commercial building,” Vanatta said. “We are going to aggressively place our brand and our products in front of decision makers in order to reach our ultimate goal of capturing market share within the multibillion dollar energy efficient lighting market. These trade shows are intended to help our target audiences identify the products they want to emphasize. The performance of our products makes a memorable impression, and we fully understand the needs of distributors to identify new products through trade shows. We have developed relationships with national and international distributors that service massive industries like retail outlets and commercial construction, and we expect that by maintaining an ongoing presence at trade shows and industry events we will be able to strengthen these relationships and stimulate the high volume purchase orders that will enable the company to meet its goals.”
