Power-Save Energy Company (OTC Bulletin Board: PWSV), an emerging leader in the renewable energy and energy efficiency products industry, announced today a contract from California Power-Save to supply a complete photovoltaic solar system for installation on a lighted Billboard in Sonoma County California. On the back of the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program, Power-Save Energy Co. and CA Power-Save will be installing 1.225k grid-tie solar systems complete with new retrofit high efficiency lighting on a Billboard owned by Veale Investment Properties. The first installation for Veale Investment Properties will be on a high profile Billboard along the U.S. Route 101 Freeway in Santa Rosa, CA.
The Sonoma County Energy Independence Program combined with the Renewable Energy Federal Grant program and Local Utility rebates allow Veale Investment Properties to convert their standard lighted Billboards to electric positive Green Billboards with no cash out of pocket and monthly finance charges less then their previous average electric bill.
Chris Frye, Owner of CA Power-Save, stated, "This is a fantastic opportunity for CA Power-Save to design, engineer and install a standard solar system that converts traditional Billboards to Green Billboards. There are literally hundreds of thousands of Billboards across America, with companies who own them and corporations who buy advertisement space on them implementing Green initiatives. This represents yet another example of how implementation of renewable energy can increase profits for businesses across America when adequate financing is in place; and Sonoma County is certainly leading the way."
Michael Forster, Power-Save Energy Company CEO also stated, "We will certainly take this engineered system and market aggressively to Billboard owners all across America. This solar system combined with a high efficiency lighting conversion makes so much sense for the Corporations that own these Billboards that we at Power-Save feel very strongly that this may become a high growth aspect of the solar business."
