Amerlux Global Lighting Solutions, the leader in manufactured architectural grade energy-efficient lighting solutions, announces today it supplied its Amerlux Evoke(TM) brand of premier architectural light fittings to the 2,717-foot tall, soon-to-be-renamed Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed, the world's tallest building built by Emaar Properties PJSC which officially opened in Dubai on Jan. 5.

Featured throughout the tunnel connecting the Burj Khalifa and the neighboring 12-million-square-foot Dubai Mall, Amerlux incorporated a number of its Evoke 2.9-inch Downlights, a series which consists of nearly 60-different fixture options available in round or square apertures of just 2.9 inches.

"When building a world-class, one-of-a-kind structure like the Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed tower, only the absolute best architectural elements measure up to the task. We're honored Emaar Properties selected Amerlux to help with this historic project, and we congratulate them on adding to the allure and architectural genius of Dubai," explained Amerlux Chairman of the Board Frank P. Diassi. "Our international reputation for excellence, efficiency and - most importantly - beautiful lighting has opened many doors for Amerlux, but none as magnificent as the doors of this amazing building."

The Evoke 2.9-inch Downlight line offers an array of architecturally styled fixtures that have been specifically engineered around the latest LED, miniature ceramic metal halide and low-voltage halogen light sources. The Evoke product collection offers uncompromising energy efficiency and superior aesthetics - including warm white LED and low-voltage halogen sources for highly switched areas or applications requiring dimming capabilities.

"Amerlux has long been recognized for being ahead of the curve on the most advanced, efficient and visually appealing lighting solutions," noted Chuck Campagna, Amerlux president and CEO. "We're extremely pleased to have been tapped to help light such an internationally renowned building, and we're thrilled to showcase some of our remarkable lighting solutions to the prestigious clientele that will visit the Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed tower."
