Epson Launches New High Brightness Multimedia Projector for Use in Large Venues

Epson, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide, today unveiled the PowerLite Pro Z8050WNL, the company's latest high brightness multimedia projector designed for auditorium and large venue applications.

The PowerLite Pro Z8050WNL is Epson's brightest projector ever, with 7,000 lumens color light output and 7,000 lumens white light output (ISO 21118). The PowerLite Pro Z8050WNL also features native WXGA resolution (1280 x 800) and Epson's industry-leading, high-aperture 3-chip 3LCD technology to deliver high-quality images and crisp, sharp text without any distortion or scaling.

Developed for large venue applications in education, corporations and houses of worship, the PowerLite Pro Z8050WNL offers 5000:1 contrast ratio, an innovative liquid cooling system, durable optical chips, and a dual-lamp design that further enhances its outstanding image quality, performance and reliability. The projector's design allows for easy access to lamps and filters which provides a lower overall cost of ownership, and a recommended 10,000-hour filter cleaning schedule makes maintenance easier and less frequent.

The PowerLite Pro Z8050WNL offers flexible installation features and customized powered lens options for motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift functions that are controllable through the remote, RS-232 or IP. The centered lens design for easy installation, and can be installed +/- 30-degrees off-axis horizontally and +/- 10-degrees off-axis vertically. Installers can choose from six optional lenses, including a rear-projection option, to customize a solution to fit even the most challenging mid to large venue installation. Additional benefits include easy integration with other devices, LAN connectivity, a built-in closed captioning decoder, plus simple monitor and control capabilities with the included Epson monitor software allows for remote monitor and control of Epson networked projectors.
