DynaVox Purchases Eye Response Technologies to Strengthen Market

DynaVox, the leading provider of speech generating devices and symbol-adapted special education software used to assist individuals in overcoming speech, language and learning challenges, today announced that the company has acquired Eye Response Technologies.

This acquisition reinforces DynaVox's commitment to providing the appropriate communication solution for each client's unique needs, and further solidifies the company's position as the market and technology leader in the augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) industry.

Eye Response Technologies, a pioneer in the field of eye tracking, develops and manufactures the ERICA line of eye-controlled communication systems. Over the long term, DynaVox expects to integrate aspects of Eye Response's technology to enhance the DynaVox EyeMax product line, especially in the areas of computer access technology.
