Boulder Imaging, Inc. Announces the QUAZAR VR300 Compact, the Entry Level High Performance Digital Video Recording Solution Boulder, Colorado - December 15, 2009

Boulder Imaging, Inc. is releasing the latest model in the Quazar line of High Performance Digital Video Recorders (HPDVR)™, the Quazar VR300 Compact.

“The Quazar 300 Compact expands our product offering at the entry level while providing customers a remarkably powerful and capable recorder with all of the quality and many of the features found in our higher-end recording systems,” says Michael Willis, President and COO of Boulder Imaging. “This new compact model is ideal for customers seeking simultaneous data capture from multiple cameras of various input types but needing less data throughput and processing power.  As a result, we are able to deliver stellar performance and capability at a lower price to this market segment.”

The Quazar VR300 Compact has a small footprint (8”H x 11”W x 13”D), is lightweight (approximately 24 pounds), and can record up to 150MB/second for long durations.  The camera vision system comes with 1.5TB of data storage and the capability to record every one of the popular input types available– NTSC, GigE, CameraLink, and many others. As with other Quazar models, the Quazar VR300 Compact has the ability to record from multiple input sources simultaneously while providing the ease-of-use one would expect from a single input solution.  The Quazar VR300 Compact can stand alone or can integrate with other vision systems to provide information for analysis or other action. The VR300 Compact can be used in a wide array of environments - medical imaging, testing (destructive and non destructive), machine vision, security and surveillance, scientific research, quality control, camera demonstration, and many more.
