Videology Imaging Solutions, Inc. brings to market an industrial-grade USB megapixel autofocus 10X zoom Photo-ID camera, the first of its kind. The camera, a smart alternative to temperamental, short-lived webcams, is TWAIN compatible – even in VISTA and Windows 7 operating systems - and works with all major Photo-ID software packages.
Videology's new generation of USB cameras will maintain a minimum 5 year life cycle for hardware and software, just as with earlier family generations.
With simplicity in mind, the USB 2.0 function is integrated within the compact camera - separate hardware is not needed to turn video into USB. Zoom, brightness, white balance and focus are all controlled through the user interface. A 2 megapixel progressive scan sensor allows for exceptionally sharp edges.
Videology’s new Photo-ID camera is fully USB 2.0 compliant and is WDM, TWAIN, and DirectX Compatible. There is an SDK available to developers.
