Forth Dimension Displays to Hold I/ITSEC at Orange County Convention Centre

Forth Dimension Displays (ForthDD) have been exhibiting at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) every year since 2000 and 2009 will be no exception. I/ITSEC will again be held at Orange County Convention Centre on International Drive, this year between November the 30th and December 3rd. ForthDD representatives will be on hand at booth 2963 to show the latest high performance microdisplay products to the discerning visitors of this prestigious event.

Some of the most widely adopted training aids of recent years have been head mounted and near to eye display systems. These have enabled a wide range of cost effective, but high fidelity, flight and ground vehicle simulators. These immersive virtual environments have in turn improved the effectiveness and reduced the cost of training. Countless US Army aviators have trained on the Flight School XXI and AVCATT systems using HMDs that incorporate state of the art ForthDD SXGA microdisplays and the US Marine Corps is fielding a large number of HMDs to assist in the training of ground soldiers in IED defeat tactics.

ForthDD have been proud supporters of a number of innovative companies who have created these aids for this industry and will be available at IITSEC to talk to those companies looking to join the growing number of ForthDD microdisplay integrators.
