Power Technology, a leader in the photonics industry for more than 50 years, announces a new high-power laser diode module at 532 nm for OEM applications. The Grande.9(532-1), laser module offers a more stable semiconductor alternative to DPSS lasers at nearly 1 W of output power at this unique wavelength.
The Grande.9(532-1), features a collimated beam, internal microprocessor control, and an LCD display with real-time information on the laser’s settings and internal temperature readings. Digital beam modulation is also available via a low-speed TTL signal. The versatility of this module makes it ideal for a range of uses including biomedical, metal processing, localized heating, and machine vision applications.
“As we continue to evolve our Grande series of lasers, we are pleased to be the first manufacturer in the market to offer a semiconductor laser module at 532 nm with this much output power,” said Walter Burgess, co-CEO of Power Technology. “It provides an efficient and cost-effective alternative to DPSS lasers at the same wavelength."
This is the latest innovation in a series of Grande lasers designed and manufactured by Power Technology. The Grande series provides wavelength and output stability and superior optical quality In addition, Grande lasers can operate at wide temperature ranges.
