The EyeVision image processing software by EVT now supports the digital microscope Dino-Lite. This combination is unbeatable when it comes to machine vision. The Dino-Lite Edge microscope with 5 Megapixel is especially designed for superior image quality, compact form factor, and ease-of-use.
With the EyeVision software the system has to offer crystal clear images even from extremely small parts. Application opportunities can be found in the quality inspection for example board assembly, printing on paper, textile, etc. Or in the surveillance of production steps of milling, molding and drilling, inspection of surfaces such as glass, metal and plastic.
The microscope is hand held and therefore so is the EyeVision software. This increases the flexibility of the inspection tasks and allows the user to alter the position for the image capture. The high resolution of the Dino-Lite makes it possible to display the captured images on big screens completely without degradation.
The EyeVision 3.2 software is able to execute various inspection programs with these high resolution images. The software offers the user thanks to the Drag-and-Drop function the possibility to create inspection programs completely without programming skills. With the prefabricated commands, applications such as e.g. pattern matching, measurement technology, OCR / OCV, Code-Reading, object recognition and counting, and especially recognizing small flaws such as scratches, cracks and shrink holes, etc. can easily be solved.
Additionally, EyeVision 3 offers the possibility for the user to create their own commands via the Plug-in function and integrate them into the EyeVision graphical user interface (GUI). In EyeVision 3.0 own commands can be provided as plug-in dll. EyeVision will scan a plug-in dll folder during start up and add all commands to the command control.
A command will appear in the command tree of EyeVision as a graphical symbol and can be dragged into the inspection program.
The EyeVision software offers together with the Dino-Lite an image processing solution, which can be integrated into the production line without any difficulty.
