Tri-State LED, a division of Revolution Lighting Technologies, today announced it has provided LED lighting solutions for Lattimer Group's offices and manufacturing facilities located in Vineland, N.J. The retrofit installed LED lighting solutions to reduce lighting energy use by 70%, saving more than $27,000 annually, while significantly improving light levels.
Tri-State LED worked in conjunction with the project's installer, Scalfo Electric based in Vineland, N.J., providing LED lamps and fixtures for the retrofit of office, storage and manufacturing facility lighting. The retrofit included replacing existing fluorescent lamps, including T-12 technology and 2x4 fixtures, with LED tubes, as well as installation of 8-foot industrial LED strip lights. Existing wall packs and flood lights within exterior perimeter areas of the facility were also replaced with LED fixtures, improving light levels for added security and safety.
"We are pleased with the success of our LED lighting project to improve light levels for our employees, while significantly reducing operating expenses," said Stephen Abernathy, President, Lattimer Group. "Tri-State LED is a tremendous partner, providing a seamless experience through its experienced staff to support all aspects of our project including scope development, product selection, budgeting, and incentive procurement."
The Lattimer Group produces more than 20,000 specially engineered components primarily for the bottled glass container manufacturing industry. Its versatile machining capability can deliver products used for a wide variety of applications in the defense, aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, nuclear and marine industries.
"We are excited to work with the Lattimer Group, successfully reducing energy use while delivering increased light levels, in some instances doubling light output," said Bob Ostrander, Division Vice President at Tri-State LED. "Lattimer's success reflects Tri-State LED's capability to act as an expert partner for our customers to exceed project goals, transforming lighting into a source of superior energy savings, quality lighting and well-being."
Throughout the U.S., more than 90 billion square feet of commercial facilities spend an average of $1.51 per square foot on energy. With lighting consisting of approximately 25% of a building's energy use, this represents a significant opportunity for Tri-State LED to assist its customers, installing high efficiency LED lighting solutions to reduce energy expenses.
