Teledyne DALSA, a Teledyne Technologies company and global leader in digital imaging, will feature its high speed capture and powerful vision processing capabilities at the AIA Vision in Life Sciences Conference taking place at the Marriott Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, on November 19.
Visitors can expect to see samples of Teledyne DALSA’s high speed, high resolution color Piranha4, its low-cost Linea GigE line scan cameras and the new small-format Genie Nano on display. These advanced multi-featured cameras are enabling faster and more detailed imaging for a greater number of life science applications, including digital pathology, ophthalmology, OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) and Endoscopy.
The Piranha4 color line scan camera is unique in the market for its trilinear CMOS image sensor which provides three native colors (red, green and blue) with minimum spatial separation for the maximum in color accuracy. The Piranha4 line scan camera delivers the highest line rates in the industry with outstanding signal-to-noise performance and offers advanced features, including sub-pixel spatial correction, lens and shading correction, and flat field correction. The Piranha4 allows up to four simultaneous areas of interest, allowing users to focus on specific areas of an image and ignore the rest, reducing processing bandwidth and even simplifying cabling.
Teledyne DALSA’s Xcelera-CL VX4 vision processor features powerful and user programmable FPGA tools to deliver real-time, high performance image acquisition. Original Equipment Manufacturers can take advantage of an entirely integrated image capture and acquisition by combining high performance line and area scan cameras with reliable and robust processors.
