Reach Introduces New Projected Capacitive Touchscreen Display Modules

Reach Technology, Inc. today announced two new PCAP modules which allow for an interface with sliders, rotary knobs, and dual or multi-touch. PCAP offers more durability and is resistant to scratches and chemical cleaners.

7” PCAP Specifications

The 7″ Standard PCAP Display Module (Product Part: 51-0405-12) helps engineers add user interfaces with scrolling, sliding, transparencies, 3D graphics, and animations to medical or industrial products. Powered by the G2H2 controller, it incorporates an industrial panel with an integrated touch screen designed for applications that demand long term availability. A Freescale i.MX 6Solo ARM Cortex-A9 core processor offers a wealth of I/O interfaces. It can be powered with an input of 5V to 12V DC. Product Specifications | Development Kit

4.3” PCAP Specifications

The 4.3” Standard PCAP Display Module (Product Part: 51-0108-01) comes complete with the SLCD43P controller board developed to match the LCD form factor, LCD, and PCAP touch screen. Reach Technology’s and simple-to-use programming tools make GUI interface and integration easy. The Innolux display resolution is 480x272 pixels (WQVGA) with a luminance of 400 cd/m2, and vertical viewing angle of 140 degrees. It has a low profile depth of 10.5mm and offers convenient mounting holes. Power is 5V and both serial and USB interfaces are supplied.
