Laser Components utilises advanced laser diodes within a multi-emitter package to achieve exceptional power and brightness.
Laser Components announces the newly developed 808 nm diode laser which utilises the multi-emitter pump platform to achieve 35 W and 60 W output power from 105 µm fibre, and 100W output from 200um fibre.
This increase in power was accomplished via spatial and polarisation-beam combination schemes combined with optimised beam shaping. The compact package and low thermal load, ensures easy integration into a wide variety of applications.
High power laser diodes have been continuously increasing in power and brightness in response to the demand from the medical and material processing industries where power, brightness, reliability and price are among the main criteria.
The 808nm pump diode is no exception and has long been used for Nd:YAG diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers. Other wavelengths are available including 405 nm, 450 nm, 520 nm, 6xx nm, 793 nm, 808 nm, 830 nm, 915 nm, 940 nm, 965 nm, 976 nm and 1064 nm.
