Cycliq’s Fly6 Rear-Tail Light, Fly12 Front-Facing Light & HD Camera to be Showcased at Interbike 2015

Cycliq will debut its forthcoming Fly12 front-facing light and full HD camera along with the award-winning Fly6 rear-tail light and HD safety camera, at Interbike, booth 2156. The show takes place September 16-18 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Fly12 is lightweight and compact, combining a camera capable of recording at 1080p for up to 10 hours in camera-only mode and a 400 lumen light, providing visibility up to 75 feet in complete darkness. WiFi and Bluetooth enable Strava integration along with a companion app for viewing and editing plus an innovative bike alarm.

Other features include:

  • 1080p resolution recording at 45 frames per second and 720p at 60 frames per second for crisp resolution delivering rich detail
  • Four light modes including always-on and flashing
  • A user-friendly companion app for on-the-fly video trimming and sharing to social networks, plus "tramline" application depicting three-foot buffer
  • Strava integration via smartphone app to display ride statistics as an overlay on video footage
  • An alarm feature that, once activated, alerts the owner if their bike is moved
  • Looping record with footage automatically saved to a microSD card, preserving important footage in the event of a serious incident
  • Nanotechnology weatherproofs the device against corrosion and water damage
  • GoPro style handlebar mount, plus Garmin and ¼ inch tripod adapter

Fly12 will be available in early 2016 at an MSRP of $349.

Fly6 is the first HD camera and tail-light combo designed specifically for cyclists, replacing current tail-lights and recording what happens behind the rider in real-time. The name Fly6 blends two phrases: "A fly on the wall," for watching and listening where you normally can't, and "6," which is the military term for "your back" (as in 6 o'clock). The device was awarded Outside Magazine's Gear of the Show award at Interbike 2014.

Both devices are ideal for commuting, group riding, racing, mountain biking and touring. The Fly6 is currently available for an MSRP of $169 from distributors including Downeast Bicycle Sales, Hans Johnsen Co, J&B Importers Inc, KHS Bicycles, Seattle Bike Supply, Trek and Wilson Bicycle Sales (full list of worldwide distributors here).

Company co-founders Andrew Hagen and Kingsley Fiegert will be demoing both devices at Interbike. To schedule a show meeting please contact [email protected].
