XYZprinting Releases its First Cost-Effective SL Laser 3D Printer, Nobel 1.0

XYZprinting, one of the world's leading 3D printing manufacturers, has announced the release of the company's first SL Laser 3D printer, the Nobel 1.0. At an MSRP of $1,499, the Nobel 1.0 is one of the most affordable stereolithography 3D printers on the market, and comes with a great warranty term, outstanding customer service support and local technical support.

The Nobel 1.0 is an industry first that provides users with the precision needed to print every intricate detail of their designs at an affordable price – without sacrificing quality. The Nobel 1.0 is now available for purchase on Amazon and the XYZprinting online store.

Developed so that consumers worldwide can fulfill their most creative ideas, the Nobel 1.0 utilizes stereolithography (also known as SL Laser) technology, which fires a precise ultraviolet laser guided through the printer's interior design to cure photosensitive resin. This method produces high-resolution print objects that reach an impressive 25 microns.

XYZprinting has formulated photopolymer resins of different colors and materials specifically for the Nobel 1.0 series, which are ideal for printing objects with high internal and external complexity. Works printed using photopolymer resin have the same precision as a quarter of the diameter of a single strand of hair, making the Nobel 1.0 a favorite amongst architects and designers.  Resins for the Nobel 1.0 are sold in a package of two 500ml bottles for $119 with two color options: grey and clear.

"XYZprinting provides the most extensive 3D printing product mix to satisfy different customer needs, including everything from the simple, easy-to-use $349 da Vinci Junior 1.0 to the unique da Vinci 1.0 AiO (all-in-one 3D scanner and printer) and now the professional Nobel 1.0 SL laser 3D printer," said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting.  "The Nobel 1.0 is setting an industry standard for SL technology, and we can't wait to see what the world's 3D printers do with their new devices."

Additional features of the Nobel 1.0 3D printer include:

  • Build Size: The build platform has a volume of 5" x 5" x 7.9" inches, ensuring the ability to create sizeable models.
  • Resin Auto-Refill:  Exclusive to the Nobel 1.0, the printer features an auto-refill resin system that detects and automatically maintains the printer's resin tank at the proper level, eliminating the need to worry about spills or maintenance.
  • FDA Certified to Ensure Home Use Safety: The Nobel has a UV Laser 405nm Class 1 certification and its all-enclosed Product Shell design protects users from the ultraviolet rays that emit during printing.
  • Separate Tanks for Resin of Different Materials: Using a spare tank is recommended for holding resin of different colors/materials. It allows switching print materials between prints to be quick with zero loss of remaining resin – better ensuring the quality of prints and preventing mixed colors or textures.
