Designed to meet the specification demands for smaller, less "Heat Sink" styled fixtures, Amerlux rounds out its wall wash offerings with the new MURRO LED fixture, a compact, passively cooled track or monopoint mounted wall wash. MURRO LED delivers significant lighting coverage from a diminutive, shallow form factor that is more efficient, dims better and adheres to a sleek aesthetic.
The luminaire was recently recognized for outstanding efficacy at the Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Competition of indoor solid-state lighting products.
"Small in size and high in output, Murro outperforms others time after time," explains Amerlux CEO/President Chuck Campagna. "With extraordinary optics, code-ready dimmability and vertical and horizontal housing options, Murro reduces costs dramatically with a light so powerful that your walls have never looked better with improved intensity and coverage."
Winner of the Outstanding Indoor Lighting Product for Efficacy (up to 105.7 lumens per watt), MURRO LED Wall Wash is a compact, passively cooled, track or monopoint mounted wall wash available in 2000 delivered lumens or 3000 delivered lumens. The spacing ratio of 2:1 (e.g. 4 feet from wall, 8 feet on center) delivers more light on the wall with fewer fixtures.
MURRO LED Wall Wash is ideal for retail, supermarket, hospitality and commercial applications and offers even, consistent lighting and superior optical performance. The luminaire is available in both horizontal and vertical configurations with wide correlated color temperature (CCT) options, including Crisp White. This fixture is offered in 19- and 31-watts and fully dimmable with ELV/Triac systems, and works on 120-277v systems to meet demanding energy codes.
MURRO LED Wall Wash was recognized for excellence and technological development during the Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Solid-State Lighting Design Competition at LightFair International, which was held in New York during May 2015. The awards, sponsored by the United States Department of Energy (DOE), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), encourage technical innovation and promote excellence in the design of energy-efficient LED luminaires for commercial, industrial, and institutional applications.
